Laurie E. Cuddy

Since 1983, Laurie has tutored students who have struggled in school. She has helped hundreds of students reach their potential, using the Orton-Gillingham Approach, the most established method for teaching students with dyslexia and other language-based learning difficulties. Her extensive experience includes ten years as Director of Language Training at the Kildonan School for dyslexic students. She is a Fellow of the Academy of Orton-Gillingham Practitioners and Educators and tutors students in all academic subjects. A gifted educator, Laurie is passionate about teaching students with learning differences.

Shawna Huggins, M.A.

$50 per hour

Tutoring Grades 4 - 12 + in most academic subjects including all math, the sciences, writing, language arts, social studies, history, and college preparation including sat, psat, act, ged. Shawna's specialty is making learning fun. She instructs in most academic subjects and enjoys working with students of all ages and learning styles. Over the summer she offers private tutoring as well as "Mom, there's nothing to do" online short courses geared to ages 9 - 14, science camps for ages 9 - 14, and college prep workshops for juniors and seniors.
