The YMCA offers fun activities for Kindergarten through 5th grades on early release, in-service, conference days. Please contact the YMCA for dates, times and information.
YMCA Kids Club
At Kids Club - each afternoon is filled with fun and creative learning. Kids Club serves children in 1st through 5th grade and meets each school day from dismissal to as late as 6 p.m. Transportation to the YMCA is provided from some schools and we are on-site at Walker School.
Creative activities in art, sports, swimming, science and language fill each afternoon. Kids learn new concepts, make new friends, and are presented with new skill development opportunities each day. Kids will have ample opportunity to unwind.
Monthly registration is for specific days of the week, and registration paperwork and payment must be received before attendance begins. Children may attend two to five days per week. There is an additional fee for early dismissal days, conference days, inservice days and holidays. Separate registration is required. Please contact the YMCA for prices and registration information.
YMCA Kinder Club
The YMCA offers a great childcare experience for kindergartners. Kinder Club runs from kindergarten dismissal until 3:00 pm or 6:00 pm. Transportation to the YMCA is provided from Walker, Helman, Bellview and John Muir Schools. The program offers a theme based curriculum, hands on learning centers, singing, storytime, cooking, games, crafts, sports, creative play, snack, and a warm nurturing staff. Registration fee required. Please contact the YMCA for prices and registration information.

Lil' Rascals provides both day care and preschool. They accept children from age 6 weeks to 5 years. In their day care program they have a care giver to child ratio of 1:4 and in their preschool program they have a teacher to student ratio of 1:10.
Hours:
Monday - Friday, 7:30 - 6:00
Fees:
$5.00 per hour for infants, 20 hour minimum per week
$4.65 per hour for toddlers, 20 hour minimum per week
$4.55 per hour for preschool
