Ann Bass

$30/half hour; $46/hour

Ann has been performing, teaching, and musical directing in the Rogue Valley since 1986 (including Oregon Cabaret Theatre, Oregon Shakespeare Festival, and Rogue Music Theatre).

She teaches beginning through advanced students, usually ages 11/12 and up. Depending on the level and style being studied, students work on technique, interpretation, languages, audition technique, and gaining a comfort level performing. Musical theatre and classical are the two styles she most often teaches.

Jennifer Schloming

$50/hour; $10 discount for students

Jennifer is the music director of the Untied Methodist Church of Ashland and adjunct faculty of the SOU Theater Dept. She teaches piano and offers vocal coaching. Her specialty is musical theater, but she has a long career in opera and classical art song as well. Her degrees are from Stanford University and Reed College.

Nova McCarthy

$25/half hour; $35/45 min.; $45/hour

Nova is an experienced music professional of over 20 years, recently returned to the Rogue Valley. She has taught music at private and public schools across the country, but has enjoyed teaching private lessons and early development music classes for the past 10 years in Southern and Northern California, as well as Southern Oregon. All of her classes are taught with a fun and creative approach to musical learning. All styles of vocal music are taught with an approach from a classical base of understanding.

Recommended age is 10 and up.
